PANBC — the PeriAnesthesia Nursing Association of British Columbia — is the provincial council for British Columbia within the national body, NAPANc (National Association of PeriAnesthesia Nurses of Canada).

As a non-profit professional nursing association, PANBC is dedicated to promoting and advancing perianesthesia nursing practice across all relevant healthcare settings in BC.

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

checklist-iconActive Membership: $35
The Registered Nurse who is currently registered with the CRNBC and who is actively working in an environment where PeriAnesthesia nursing is practiced or has a vested interest in the PeriAnesthesia care of clients,(Management and Research included). Active Members have the right to vote, hold office and serve on committees.

checklist-iconAssociate Membership: $25
Associate membership is open to healthcare practitioners who are not Registered Nurses but work in settings where perianesthesia nursing is practiced and have a professional interest in perianesthesia patient care. Associate members may participate on committees but are not eligible to vote or hold office.

checklist-iconStudent Membership: $20
Future health care practitioner who is not eligible for active or associate membership.

The current (2026) registration year is from Jan 1, 2026 – Dec. 31, 2026. Members joining before year end pay the prorated monthly fee.
